The Nokona Baseball Clinic Series a huge success
A big Nokona thank you to Jeff Colburn and Mike Lyon for organizing and leading the 2011 Clinic Series recently concluded at the Boston Athletic Club. The 4-clinic series uses a progressive format, with each clinic designed to build off the previous clinic. Centered around defensive techniques and drills, our series once again has our great players focused and energized for the upcoming 2012 season. Many thanks to Justin O'Brien, Ben Hewitt, Coach Del, Luke Cuneo, James Venuto and Matt Cuneo for all their expertise and help during the series.

In 2010, The Nokona 15u team finished 9th out of 128 elite teams attending the prestigious 2010 Perfect Game WWBC Championships. Locals in East Cobb could not remember the last time a New England team finished that high. Nokona qualified for Championship play by winning their pool which included the 61-1 East Cobb Astros. Nokona defeated East Cobb 2-0 in a night game at the main complex to highlight their trip. The Chiefs won their first 2 playoff games against fabulous teams from Texas and were eliminated by the eventual Champion from Georgia.
